SOMEBODY LOVES ME
On ariving home this afternoon I discovered a package from dA.. Some wonderful person sent me a Fella.. Thank you so very much.. What a wonderful gift.. Whoever you are, I love you!!!!! He is sitting right next to me.. Such a sweet little This was totally unexpected. I would love to know who you are..

It was a long day at the Dr.s office.. We had to wait while Mom's reumatologist consulted with her opthamologist.. They still aren't sure what happened.. Whether it was Glaucoma or Arteritis. Possibly a combination of both.. Either way Mom is doing better now, although a little shaky.. I am so tired I am not sure which way is up.. I promised you an update and this is all I have.. I wish I had more information.. I'm going to rest tonight. I will answer messages and look at all the wonderful images waiting for me in the morning.. Love you all.. Your support makes things easier for me.. Mom is overwhelmed by your kindness.. Thank you my friends.. You are all wonderful..

P.S. Please forgive my dyslexic lapses.. It gets worse when I am tired..

Yesterday was a busy day.. Around 11:00 Mom had an extreme pain in her left eye.. So bad she felt like she had to hold the eye to keep it from popping out.. I called my sister and we took her to the emergency room.. Wouldn't you know, half the town was there.. After wading through the admissions forms we finally got her to a Dr. He gave her a large dose of prednazone, ordered a cat scan and called her opthamologist.. He was checking for a flare up of her Arteritis, a stroke and glaucoma.. We made the drive to the opthmologist and he tested her for glaucoma and ruled that out.. He belives it was a flare up of the Arteritis. [link] She was diagnosed with Giant Cell Arteritis in 2003. After seeing the opthamologist it was back to the emergency room to get the results of the cat scan and have some blood tests. There was no stroke. That's good.. She sees her reumatologist Monday and he will have the results of her blood tests.. I will update this journal when we get home Monday.. It was one scary day.. Now on to things that aren't so depressing..
