Changes and Exciting Times

Frustrating news.. My sister is no longer able to pay for my cable internet, so I an back on dialup..

I will no longer be able to do the feature journals like I have.. I won't have the time.. It takes three hours to do them with highspeed, with dialup it would take all day.. It is going to take forever to catch up. I have over 1000 messages.. I'll do it as fast as I can, but also this means I can't tie up the phone line for any length of time.. We only have one.. What a pain, but it can't be helped.. I'm just grateful she could pay it for as long as she did.. The visit with my son was wonderful..

I adore my daughter in law..

She fits right into this family as if she were born to it.. I have pictures and will post them as soon as I can..

Mom is home and herself again..

She is better than she has been in quite a while.. Besides the reaction to the medication, they found an infection they are treating.. It was touch and go there Thursday.. We weren't sure if she was going to make it.. Once they got the drug out of her system, she was fine.. My youngest sister came up for a few days, so Mom has all her girls together.. We had a real giggle fest yesterday afternoon. My son should be here this evening.. What an exciting month I am having.. With all that has happened, I am way behind again and will probably remain so for a few more days.. I have no idea when I will have time to work on any new art.. Next life I want to be a pampered cat..

I'm so glad your mom is home. Enjoy your family! I am hoping to visit with my son today and see the kitten he kept. (Yes, I found out he kept one. He says he has a family now.)

I'm glad to hear your mom is doing so much better, Ann! It's amazing how much damage the wrong drugs will do (had this problem with my elderly dad, so I know how it goes). Hope she keeps on getting better and better. And I hope you get some rest, too. As usual, your journal features are the BEST of all the people I watch!
